Field’s New Paper-Based Tube

Field Special Products at Bradford is believed to be the first UK company to produce a composite tube with a flat simulated seamed base, made entirely of paper-based material. The tube’s flat-base, compared to the more usual deep recessed, beaded base, offers manufacturers a high quality, neater finish.

This special tube is available in a range of sizes from a very small 38mm to 94mm diameter. This range complements other composite tube sizes available from Field.

Mike Ridgway, Field Special Products General Manager – Sales, said: "Field has invested in new production techniques that have the ability to produce over 100 tubes per minute. This is significantly faster and more cost-effective than the hand collation of traditionally produced paper-based tubes."
