Thinking Clearly
Field Packaging – Bradford has produced a new revolutionary polypropylene toothpaste carton for GlaxoSmithKline, which will be used throughout Europe. This groundbreaking pack effectively uses new technology to produce machine erectable creases for which Field has filed a patent application.
The carton is produced in large volumes and effectively combines robust constructional design and high quality litho print in 6-colours, incorporating a fine vignette as well as solid colour saturation to provide a high graphic impact. The polypropylene carton features a machine erectable crease specification, which is both measurable and controllable.
Paul Durkin, Business Development Director - Field Packaging:
"The carton is fully machine erectable using a new process that has allowed Field to file for international patent protection. As such, packs are able to run efficiently on high-speed automated packing lines in large volumes. These polypropylene cartons can now support the requirements of global brands."
